CORNELL ARCHITECTURE: SUMMER COLLEGE
June - july 2017.
With a year of school to go, and a budding interest in architecture, I attended Cornell University's Introduction to Architecture summer program in order to find out more about the subject. Over the course of the six weeks, I was introduced to architectural concepts and practical skills. Below is a gallery of the work leading up to and including my final project.
As in the IB Diploma, I utilised a sketchbook to keep track of my process and experimentation. From rudimentary boxes to a theoretical habitable space, the course pushed us to reimagine our work in several dimensions, materials, and forms, always with a strong emphasis on exactitude and precision.
