BRIEF

In anticipation of our final project, we were tasked with doing a site analysis on one of three sites. I chose the MIT Haystack Observatory, for it has a deep and remarkable scientific legacy, and its presence is felt far beyond the geographical confines of the site.

 

The site analysis was to take the form of a collage or diagram which represented differenct characters of the site that we found interesting. In the below diagram, I highlight:

• The site itself

• The chronology of its construction and reconstruction

• The scientific discoveries that have been made with Haystack's radio telescopes
